The best Indian restaurant in Merced so far. Great taste and flavors. Nice presentation with their dishes and their sweet lassi with rose water and chicken biryani is superb. They have buffet option as well between 11am and 2pm( not entirely sure of timings). Service is also quick. Their medium spice can be really hot.

Went in for an impromptu lunch date, and was blown away with the service but especially the food. We asked for recommendations and they were so kind to answer all our questions. I know my mom orders from online all the time so I recommend spending your money here 🤩

Excellent food with great, attentive service (which can't be said about most Indian restaurants). You shouldn't miss this place if you are visiting Merced.

One of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. Food is fresh and you can taste the extra special spices like no other place. Service is great. The owner/manager spent time explaining the food and spice levels to us. They have a big tv and it was playing mma fighting so it was distracting to watch the gore while eating, though it was entertaining after we were done eating. Make sure you order the pani puri!

Masala is a very good Indian restaurant. It hasn't been here in Merced too long, but the food & service is great. I would highly recommend dining in at Masala for some good Indian food.

Food is AMAZING!!! Owner has GREAT customer service. FIRST time trying since they been open almost a year now and it did not disappoint. We got a bunch of food and the sizes are good they are pretty big portions. We got the fish curry vegetarian curry samosas nan bread mango drink and grill mix for all the food we spent $70 but it was WELL WORTH THE MONEY. Definitely going back
